A Beautiful Day

Dear Zeon,
Today was a mommy and me day for you. Your father had to go down to Key Largo to promote a show door to door with your brother Omar. Normally we would have gone with him but it wouldn't have been fun stuck in a car all day while daddy went door to door. We stayed home instead and had fun just hanging out together. I finally found a face that makes you laugh out loud. I wish I could freeze that moment forever.
After a lifetime of trying to find Zen, of meditation, mantras, yoga, books, movies and documentaries, I have finally found the one thing that completely consumes me in the moment, you. You make me want to cherish right here right now with you. I hope you always seek me out the way you do when you need something now. The tears are streaming down my face just thinking about how happy you make me right now. I hope I can make your childhood as happy as possible.
