Baptism, Baby Shower, and more

Dear Zeon,



You were Baptised May 16, 2010. Your Godparents are my sister Alex and her boyfriend, the father of her two children, Javier. It was a long time waiting in the church, three hours to be exact before the deed was done. I am so proud that I accomplished that for you. It was very important to me for you to become an official member of the Catholic Church.

Despite all the scandals with the priests, it does not make my faith waver. I even fiddle with the idea of putting you in a catholic school, but probably won't just to be on the safe side. Catechism will have to suffice at age 7 followed promptly by confirmation. It really tears me apart all this scandal.

Enough of the dark! Focus on the light! On the fact that my heart melted when I got your baptismal certificate in the mail. You looked angelic in your suit and behaved so well. I love you for that. You are my most precious gift ever. God bless you.

Dear Zeon,
You are finally going to be baptised on May 16, 2010. You are not a year yet so I don't feel as bad as I would if I had waited longer. Your godparents will be my sister and her boyfriend the father of her two kids. You love them both very much. You should see your smile when they come in the room. You are such a handsome little boy. The apple of my eye. I thank God for you everyday. You make my life such a joy. Thank you. I hope your Baptism to the Lord goes well.
